Placement Exam
Find the course that best fits you and your abilities
At our language school we offer many language courses for beginners and advanced students alike. To place you in an appropriate course level for your abilities, we will carry out a placement exam in different formats depending on the language:
- Speaking placement exam (approximately 10-15 min.) conversation with one of our native speaking teachers
- Written (online) placement exam
Please choose one of the two options based on which language you would like to take a course in.
Oral placement exam in the following languages:

- Russian (A2) (starting at B1, please make an appointment for an oral placement exam)

To arrange an appointment for an oral placement exam (approx. 10 - 15 minutes), please use our contact form. We will then get back to you within a few days with further information on the placement process.
Feedback on your placement exam will usually be communicated per email within 3-5 business days (depending on the volume of exams we receive it could take slightly longer for you to receive your results).
Please follow the corresponding link or download the relevant PDF document and then send us your test result (as a PDF file) by email to office@sprachenatelier-berlin.de.
Please note: On some placement exam pages you have to enter the above email address directly into the “Forward results to my institution” field (or similar) so we can receive your result.
