Important information on how Sprachenatelier Berlin is handling the corona crisis
[January 2023]
As of now, masks are no longer required at Sprachenatelier Berlin.

[May 2022]
As of now, there is no longer a 3G rule at Sprachenatelier Berlin.
However, we still recommend that you get vaccinated against the Corona virus if possible and get tested if you experience symptoms. We also ask that you still look out for the safety of others and do not come to school if Corona-like symptoms occur.
The mask requirement still applies when you are moving around the building (in the hallways, office, stairwell, etc.). At your seat in the classroom, you can decide for yourself whether or not to wear the mask.

[April 2022]
Our on-site courses continue to take place under the 3G rule. You will receive detailed information on how you can provide your proof (vaccinated, recovered or tested) before the course begins.
You still have to wear a FFP2-mask throughout the building, including in the classroom.
Thank you very much!

[March 2022]
Corresponding to the current regulation of the Berlin Senate, on-site courses take place with the 3G rule.
You will receive detailed information on how you can provide proof (vaccinated, recovered or tested) in good time before the course begins.
Masks are still mandatory throughout the building (FFP2), including on your seat in the classroom.
Thank you very much!

[December 2021]
Coinciding with the current regulations of the Berlin Senate, when in-person, our foreign language courses may only run under the 2G conditions.
However, our German courses may also take place under the 3G condition.
You will receive further information from us before your course starts.

[May 2021]
IMPORTANT: on-site courses from 31/05/21
We are finally able to announce that our face-to-face courses at Sprachenatelier can be taught on site again from 31/05/21. We are very happy to finally see you again (or even for the first time!) after such a long time!
A few important things to note:
- From now on it is compulsory to get tested for Covid. We will send you an extra email with further details on this.
- Furthermore, the wearing of masks is compulsory in the entire building - from now on, a FFP2 mask is required, even when at your seat in the classroom.
- Of course, the familiar hygiene, distance and ventilation rules still apply. Here you can find the current hygiene concept of Sprachenatelier Berlin.
As before, the office can be reached mainly by phone and email. We want to continue to reduce the number of contacts as much as possible and therefore ask you to make online enquiries, payments, etc. as before.

[May 2021]
ATTENTION: Our on-site courses will temporarily take place online until 23 May 2021!
From 25 May 2021, the courses will again take place on-site at Sprachenatelier Berlin, subject to new resolutions and regulations. Our online-only courses will stay online even when the lockdown ends.
Because of the lockdown, our school is closed, but for consultation and information you can still reach us from Monday to Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. by phone, or of course by e-mail and via the contact form.
We carry out your German placement test online. We will send you the link by email and there will be a short conversation on Zoom. You can find the placement tests for all other languages here.
telc exams still take place on-site. You will receive all the information about the process from us in good time. We will be happy to send you your certificate by post. If you want to pick up your certificate, please make an appointment.

[July 2020]
Dear course participants and prospective customers,
Sprachenatelier Berlin is in online LEARNING mode - and has been offering face-to-face lessons (for small groups) again since July 2020!
However, most courses will continue to be taught online. We have switched language courses from in person at Sprachenatelier to an online platform so we can continue to offer courses at a high level, even during these turbulent times of Corona.
Join us face-to-face on the screen or come into Sprachenatelier and learn in small groups – because what‘s better than learning a new language!
Otherwise: Please take care of yourself and please be sure to follow the instructions of the authorities and the Robert Koch Institute!
Here you can find more information on the current hygiene protocols of Sprachenatelier Berlin.
