Language of Instruction

If you only have time in the evenings, alongside your work or studies, then you can learn English in an evening course at the Sprachenatelier! You have the choice between learning English online or in person, and in either case the course is individually tailored to the abilities and needs of your class.

The most effective way to learn English is to join a English Intensive Course at the Sprachenatelier. The courses last two weeks during which you will work on English in small groups, online or in person, from morning to night. But don’t worry, you won’t miss out on fun! Our English lessons are varied and you will practice vocabulary and grammar, reading and listening as well as speaking in different situations (role play).

Berlin employees can also apply for a leave of absence from their employer for the duration of the course – so complete English Bildungsurlaub at the Sprachenatelier Berlin!

In our English Conversation Courses, the emphasis is on spoken English. We will work to reduce speech barriers, expand your vocabulary and refresh grammatical topics.

The level required for the English Conversation courses is A2/B1. Depending on the course set up, the course will train active listening, reacting spontaneously in conversation situations, phone calls, interviews and customer conversations. Learn to communicate in English stress-free in everyday life.

English Company Course: The Sprachenatelier Berlin offers you language courses that are individually tailored to your company. We include industry-specific vocabulary as well as other language skills that are important for everyday business communication.

Your employees and leadership team will be able to competently communicate in English for phone calls, to represent your company and to lead conversations. Or previous English knowledge will be expanded upon and deepened in an industry-specific manner.

Our English Business Courses are specially conceptualized for professionals and place an emphasis on the practical language needs of everyday work life. You will learn industry-specific English in order to present yourself confidently and professionally.

Possible content includes typical situations of everyday office life such as meetings, presentations, phone calls, small talk, negotiations, writing reports, business correspondence, etc.
