09.11. KÖNIG GALERIE
One of the important common features between art and religion is the fact that both of them inspire and comfort us. König Galerie embodies this commonality symbolically, as the gallery is located in a former church. In 2015, König Galerie moved into the St. Agnes building, a monumental former church in Kreuzberg that was built in the 1960s in the style of Brutalism. The church was renovated to fit its new purpose. The former chapel and the nave are currently two main spaces of the gallery, where large exhibitions are held. King Gallery presents different kinds of art, such as sculpture, video, sound, painting, printmaking, photography and performance, and at the beginning of this November it presents two painting exhibitions: "MYTH" by Karl Horst Hodicke and "NO SIGNAL" by Christopher Hartmann. We would like to invite everyone who wants to spend a magical time with art in a beautiful place.
