Siegessäule

The Siegessäule ('Victory Column') is one of Berlin's best-known landmarks and towers over the city's largest park, the Tiergarten. It is actually a military monument, but this significance has faded into the background over the years and today it also serves as a great vantage point. If you walk through Tiergarten Park and climb the 285 steps, you can enjoy the view of the Reichstag, the Brandenburg Gate and of course the whole Tiergarten.
