Alltag in der DDR - KulturBrauerei

The Kulturbrauerei is, as the name suggests, an old beer brewery in Prenzlauer Berg. In the past, hops and malt were mixed together here to brew intoxicating drinks. Today it is a meeting place for people from all over the world who have an affinity for art and culture. In addition to a cinema, theatre and club, there is also a museum in the Kulturbrauerei. There you can visit the free exhibition ,,Alltag in der DDR" (Everyday Life in the GDR). The time of German division still has a noticeable impact on society. How were people in the GDR, what did they do in their free time, what goods were available to them? Join us on a short journey through time.
