Die Deutschen des 21. Jahrhunderts
Everyone has prejudices and in Germany there is still a certain idea of what a "real German" should actually look like. People who do not correspond to this idea are often read as "foreign". Yet our society has been colourful and diverse since before yesterday. What does it mean to be "German" anyway? The photographer Olivieri Toscani has dedicated himself to this very topic and is presenting an open-air exhibition of portraits of the Germans of the 21st century on Potsdamer Platz. Join us in the heart of Berlin and see for yourself. If you want to put your own prejudices to the test, you can do so on the site: toscanideutschland21.de. There you can click through the bias-o-mat.
