Schwulen Museum
Did you know that Berlin was already a place of longing for lesbians and gays from all over the world in the 1920s?
On this Culture Wednesday, we'll be looking at Berlin's gay history, which goes back more than 100 years. Although there are historical sites from this period all over the city, Schöneberg is the district where Berlin's gay history is concentrated! Even today, this district is one of the most important meeting points for Berlin's LGBTQ+ nightlife.
After a short walk through Schöneberg, residence of icons like David Bowie and Marlene Dietrich, we will deepen our knowledge of Berlin's impressive gay history at the Gay Museum!
Meeting point: 12:30 pm, in front of Sprachenatelier
Duration: as long as you wish
Costs: 3 € (reduced price)
