Topography of Terror

Where today you find the Topography of Terror, once stood the headquarter buildings of the security forces during the Nazi era and World War II. Many horrible things took place here including the planning of crimes and the decision to murder countless people. The permanent exhibition “Topographie des Terrors: Gestapo, SS und Reichssicherheitshauptamt in der Wilhelm- und Prinz-Albrecht-Straße” not only documents the horrible happenings during the Nazi era in an informative way, but it is also the most visited place of remembrance in Berlin, sharing information in both German and English.
