Kulturbrauerei

The Kulturbrauerei is a huge cultural space that originally operated as a brewery in the 1850s. Its stunning courtyards and unique architecture makes it one of the few well-preserved examples of 19th century industrial architecture in Berlin. Nowadays, it functions as a venue for theatres, cinemas, concerts, restaurants, bars and clubs. This Wednesday we will be visiting this historical site, as well as its „Alltag in der DDR“ („Everyday life in East Germany“) exhibition. Perhaps afterwards, if we still want to do something, we can go to the Pratergarten next door to enjoy a drink at the biggest beer garden in Berlin!
