Stasimuseum Berlin
The infamous STASI was a secret police force created in Eastern Germany in 1950 in order to spy on and control its own citizens through the use of fear, violence and sometimes even torture. On Wednesday we will be heading to the STASI Museum in order to learn more about this dark but important aspect of Berlin‘s history. The museum itself is held inside the main STASI headquarters, therefore giving visitors the opportunity to see the STASI offices exactly as they were, and includes many other interesting exhibitions about life during a police state. There is a lot that can be learnt here, so make sure you come along!
