This Culture Wednesday, we’re taking the last opportunity to visit one of Germany’s most popular film museums: the Deutsche Kinemathek. The permanent exhibition will be closed for over a year, but during its final week, the museum is offering free entry to all. The exhibition is immersive and features a wide range of multimedia experiences on the history of German cinema. Together, we’ll explore the historical and technological development of filmmaking – from the early days of silent film to the special effects of the digital age. All you need to bring is a love of film.
