Culture Wednesday - Christmas Market at Schloßplatz

As we had so much fun last week at the Christmas market, we are going to another Christmas market but this time to the one at Schloßplatz. Here you can take advantage of free entry and experience the festivity with atmospheric, luminous exteriors, high quality handicraft and international delicacies. This idyllic Christmas market opened for the first time on 1st December and has been transformed into a new meeting place and attraction. Families and friends can revel in the Christmas magic with a great view of the Lustgarten, the Museum Island and the Berlin Dome.

To add to the Christmas spirit there are elaborate animations produced by video mapping. These artistic projections were specially designed for this place and cultivate a new dynamic. The well-known illumination technology company Boehlke, which has already artistically illuminated many of the city's landmarks, such as for the Festival of Lights, has created light installations for this event. Visitors can look forward to an extensive free cultural program with offers for both children and families.
