We went to the Stasi Museum a few weeks ago and thought that this exhibition could be a good sequel! With more than 300 historical photos, 500 exhibits like lost documents on 700 sqm² this memorial remembers and shows the experiences of the victims who were imprisoned during the GDR detention in Hohenschönhausen between 1945 and 1989. The prisoners are people who tried to escape from the GDR or were caught criticising the system. In a 360-degree virtual reality film, you can see and feel for yourself what it was like to be imprisoned there. Not only the lives of the victims are shown, but also the administration of the prison, e.g. the offices of the people working there.
