URBAN NATION

One of the newest additions to what is already an impressive collection of Berlin museums, Urban Nation presents a selection of contemporary berlin-based artists. Above all what this exhibition tries to do is connect Berliners with Berlin art. Through this the exhibition portrays a learning method, designed to support integration and participation in Berlin neighbourhoods. Since its long awaited opening in 2017, this exhibition sticks out from other Berlin museums due to its free entry. Since Berlin is renowned as the ‘Graffiti Capital’, it comes as no surprise to find out that Urban Nation prides itself on its collection oof exciting and politically driven street-artwork.
