An intensive German course at Sprachenatelier Berlin lasts 2–12 weeks, takes place four days a week and is suitable for all levels – from beginners (A1) to advanced learners (C2).
Courses start every Monday from €240 (2 weeks). Small groups and qualified teachers ensure rapid and effective progress. The course is ideal for university studies, work or visa purposes.

The intensive German courses are available both as online courses and as face-to-face lessons. You can also choose between intensive German courses in the morning or afternoon.
Who Is the Intensive German Course Suitable For?
Our intensive German course is ideal for people who want to learn German quickly and make rapid progress. It is particularly suitable for students in Germany, working professionals and skilled workers, as well as people who need German for visa or integration purposes. The course is also a good choice for learners who are preparing for a German language exam such as telc or Goethe and want to improve their language skills in a short period of time.

In the summer (July and August), our morning intensive courses are called summer courses 🌞 In addition to German lessons, they also include a range of exciting cultural activities
Intensive German courses for professional purposes
Our special intensive German courses for professional purposes are recognised as educational leave (formerly ‘Bildungsurlaub’) under the Berlin Educational Leave Act [BiZeitG] and comprise 30 teaching hours per week.
How long does one level of our on-site intensive courses last?
The duration of one sub-level (ex: A1.1 or A1.2) course is approximately 4-5 weeks. However, it is different for each course participant, how much time they need. A complete level (A) takes approximately 8-10 weeks, B2 or C1 approx. 10-12 weeks.
The duration of each level is calculated honestly in a transparent and fair way, so that you have clear expectations and can successfully reach your goal without misleading information and false promises!

Which learning materials do we offer in our German intensive courses?
Our Intensive German Courses use different textbooks that need to be bought and familiarised with at the beginning of the course. Depending on course level, the textbooks "Panorama" (Cornelsen), "Weitblick" (Cornelsen) and "Aspekte neu" (Klett) are currently used in our German Intensive Courses. You can order the books on the publisher‘s website or from the Buchbox (bookstore in Berlin). Alternatively, you can also buy the books in our office (cash only).
Additionally, our teachers also create their own teaching materials, that will be distributed as photocopies for free.

Sprachenatelier Berlin is centrally located in the heart of Berlin-Friedrichshain and is very easy to reach. Our language school is conveniently situated, whether you’re coming from Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg, Lichtenberg, Prenzlauer Berg or Mitte.
